INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The 2025 Chicago Auto Show, the nation’s largest, kicks off today, bringing the latest automotive design, technology, and performance to the Midwest. Running through February 17, the event highlights a diverse lineup of vehicles—from hybrid models to electric vehicles—offering a glimpse into the industry’s future.
Transportation expert Mike Caudill, a frequent contributor to the event, noted that the best part of the Chicago Auto Show is its interactive nature.
Visitors can experience vehicles firsthand by sitting inside, taking test rides, and engaging with simulators. Caudill pointed to displays like Camp Jeep, where attendees can experience Jeep’s off-road capabilities and supercars like the ZR1 Concept and various high-performance models.
For those keeping an eye on the evolving hybrid market, one of the show’s major highlights is the 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid.
The model boasts an impressive 581 miles on a single tank of gas. The Subaru Forester Wilderness, an upgraded off-road version of the Forester, comes with 9.4 inches of ground clearance and an all-wheel-drive system, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.
As the event continues through February 17, the Chicago Auto Show remains a must-attend event for car enthusiasts, industry professionals, and consumers eager to explore the latest automotive trends.
