8BitDo, makers of some neat gaming controllers and accessories, has recently announced a new mobile clip for attaching Micro and Zero 2 gaming controllers to your phone. Now, you must be wondering what makes the mobile clip so different, right?
8BitDo announces a new mobile clip to attach the Micro or Zero 2 controllers to your phone
If you are familiar with compact gaming controllers, you probably know about the Micro and Zero 2. Both are among 8BitDo’s smallest gaming controllers that are compatible with iPhones and Android smartphones. For the uninitiated, gaming with the Micro or Zero 2 controllers requires you to lay your phone on a flat surface. Another option is to simply prop your smartphone up.
While it isn’t a big problem, 8BitDo’s new Mobile Clip tries to make gaming much more seamless. This piece of tech attaches to your smartphone and can hold the Micro or Zero 2 controllers for gaming on the go. It is a three-piece gaming accessory made out of plastic, one of which clamps onto the phone. The other two pieces hold the Micro or Zero 2 controllers.
You can always use the two holders to attach the controller of your choice and then attach it to the additional part to clamp the whole setup to your smartphone. As you see in the image below, the controller is usually placed at the lower half of a smartphone’s screen.
The new mobile clip is now available and doesn’t cost much
If you have one of the previously mentioned 8BitDo gaming controllers, the new mobile clip is worth checking out. Besides, it is a perfect accessory to play your favorite retro mobile games.
The company is offering the Micro/Zero 2 Mobile Clip for $9.99. If you don’t have the Micro or Zero 2 controller yet, check out the official store of 8BitDo. You can grab the Micro and Zero 2 controllers for $24.99 or $19.99, respectively.
