NEW DELHI: Oppo India’s recently launched smartphone, the Oppo Reno12 Pro 5G Manish Malhotra Limited Edition, became available for purchase in India from Thursday at Rs 36,999.
The Reno12 Pro Manish Malhotra Limited Edition comes in a single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It can be purchased at the Oppo e-store, Flipkart, and mainline retail outlets.
The smartphone utilises an eight-layer process—compared to the usual six-layer construction of a Reno back—which includes two layers of plating, one for the gold and the other for the black, along with UV texturing, CounterPoint Screen Printing, and Stereo Etched Glass, the smartphone maker said in a statement Thursday.
The device comes with a 50MP main camera, powered by Sony’s LYT-600 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera (Samsung JN5 sensor) with 2x portrait zoom and up to 20x digital zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera (Sony IMX 355 sensor) with a 112-degree field of view.
The Manish Malhotra edition smartphone is equipped with a 50MP front camera with autofocus and a 90-degree field-of-view.
The Reno12 Pro and its Manish Malhotra edition come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate, and 1200nits peak HDR brightness.
The smartphone integrates Oppo’s latest artificial intelligence (AI) imaging advancements and GenAI features.
