LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The lawsuit against Jefferson County Public Schools’ busing plan has been placed on another 30-day hold.
This comes after the proceedings were put on pause for 60 days at the beginning of August.
The lawsuit takes aim at the JCPS transportation plan for the 2024-25 school year. JCPS parents sued the district in June after the decision was made to end busing for magnet and traditional schools.
Court documents say both parties agreed on the 30-day stay as JCPS continues to try to implement additional busing.
