15-year-old driver on Cincinnati's West Side crashes into incoming cars, kills driver – WKRC TV Cincinnati


MOUNT AIRY, Ohio (WKRC) – A person is dead after a 15-year-old crashed into two oncoming cars in Mount Airy on Tuesday.

According to police, it happened at approximately 7:40 p.m. near W. North Bend Road and Kiplington Drive.

It’s believed that the 15-year-old crossed the marked centerline and hit two cars. The teen then fled on foot before being located by police.

A 69-year-old female driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Mercy Health West Hospital. The other driver involved in the crash, a 28-year-old male, was seriously hurt and was taken to UC Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

Excessive speed is being investigated as a contributing factor to the crash.
