Circle to Search coming to HONOR Magic V3 & HONOR 200 series

HONOR has just announced that Google’s Circle to Search feature is coming to the HONOR Magic V3 and HONOR 200 series devices. The rollout is starting today for the HONOR Magic V3. The HONOR 200 series will get it “a little later”.

Google’s Circle to Search is coming to HONOR Magic V3 & HONOR 200 series

As many of you know, Google’s Circle to Search brings the search function to a whole new level. You can simply circle, highlight, scribble, or tap anywhere on the screen in order to select text, image, or video you want to get more information about.

That way you don’t have to switch apps in order to search for something. Circle to Search will do the job right from there, and deliver you the results in form of a pop-up. It’s seamless.

This feature is set to complement the three AI features that HONOR announced at IFA last month. Those features are teh HONOR AI Eraser, Face-to-Face Translation, and Translation Tools in HONOR Notes. These were announced in collaboration with Google Cloud.

HONOR’s CEO released a statement too

This is what HONOR’s CEO said: “As a human-centric technology brand, HONOR is committed to bringing the benefits of AI to all. Thanks to our close industry collaboration with Google and by introducing this feature to not one, but two of our popular smartphone lines, it’s now possible to unlock a world of information at your fingertips,  offering a whole new level of convenience in people’s daily lives”.

The HONOR Magic V3 is, as many of you know, the company’s new flagship foldable. This is also the thinnest and lightest book-style foldable in the world at the moment. It’s already on sale for €1,999.

The HONOR 200 series, on the other hand, is technically the company’s mid-range lineup consisting of several devices. The ‘Pro’ model is the upper mid-range device, as it does stand apart from its siblings.
