TCL’s popular QM7 series is back on sale, and right now you can pick up a 55-inch model for just $549. That’s $250 off, but not quite an all-time low. It’s $50 shy of an all-time low, we could see this drop more around Black Friday, but we don’t expect it to drop any lower before then.
At $549, that’s a pretty good price for a 55-inch TV, now getting one that is a QD-Mini LED TV at that price is incredible. It brings you the advantages of QLED, with the brightness of Mini LED, the best of both worlds.
Keep in mind that this is a QD-Mini LED TV, so it gets very bright without destroying the picture quality. This is thanks to there being up to 1,500 local dimming zones. This allows the blacks to actually look black versus being a dark gray, and provides up to 2,400 nits of peak brightness. That’s brighter than some phones these days.
It’s still a perfect TV for the gamers out there, as you can game at 120Hz in 4K resolution, though it does support up to 144Hz Variable Refresh Rate. It’s going to be great for playing that new PlayStation 5 Pro.
Inside, this is running on Google TV, giving you access to thousands of apps like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and much more. It also has support for Google Cast and Google Assistant. Making for a pretty unique TV-viewing experience.
