Which electric cars in Portugal are included in the new scraping scheme? – The Portugal News


The 2025 State Budget includes an incentive for the purchase of new light electric vehicles up to 38,500 euros, with it being mandatory to give a combustion car over 10 years old for scrapping.

The value of the incentive is 4,000 euros for individuals or 5,000 in the case of IPSS or other charitable institutions. However, there is a limit: only 1050 incentives will be delivered for 2024.

According to NM, there is a list, of electric cars that can be purchased using the government incentive.
