Galaxy AI will support 20 languages soon

Samsung’s Galaxy AI was quite the jaw-dropper when it was unveiled back in January this year, but it’s since been outshined by Gemini and Apple Intelligence. Be that as it may, Samsung is still spreading its AI platform to the masses. According to the company, Galaxy AI will support 20 languages.

One of the most important things about an AI platform is the number of languages it supports. Gemini supports a large number of languages and so does ChatGPT. Samsung has been behind the curve a bit, but it’s making gains. In fact, Samsung has been on a mad dash to push Galaxy AI onto its older phones.

The company recently made a post letting us know that it’s expanding its language support. At the moment, it supports a respectable 16 languages: Arabic, Chinese (China mainland, Hong Kong), English (Australia, India, United Kingdom, United States), French (Canada, France), German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish (Mexico, Spain, United States), Thai, and Vietnamese.

Galaxy AI will support 20 languages

When Samsung expands the Galaxy AI language support, the platform will support Turkish, Dutch, Swedish, and Romanian. If you speak one of these languages, then you’ll have to wait a bit for the support. Samsung says that support will land sometime before the end of the year. Seeing as there are two and a half more months left in the year, that’s not too long of a wait.

These users will gain support just in time for Samsung to announce the Galaxy S25 series. We believe that Samsung is going to launch these phones sometime in January. We don’t know too much about these phones, but we’re sure that the company will announce some new AI features that will enhance the Galaxy experience.

As time goes on, we expect Samsung to spread Galaxy AI to even more languages as time goes on.
