We already knew that this was going to happen, but Pete Lau just confirmed it, the OPPO Find X8 flagships are coming to global markets, following their China launch. That was not the case last year, which was a shame, but OPPO decided to listen to criticism.
The OPPO Find X8 series is coming to global markets, as expected
OPPO actually confirmed that its next flagships will be coming to global markets soon after the OPPO Find X7 series launched. The OPPO Find X7 Ultra managed to get a lot of attention, so OPPO decided to act fast.
That’s why we kind of knew that this was going to happen, but it’s nice to hear an official confirmation straight from Pete Lau, one of the most important people in the company and co-founder of OnePlus.
What he did not say, however, is when will that happen? Chances are we won’t have to wait long, however. The OPPO Find X8 Ultra and OPPO Find N4 are rumored to arrive in Q1 next year, so… OPPO will want to get the OPPO Find X8 and Find X8 Pro out as soon as possible.
The ‘Pro’ model is bigger, but the vanilla one has thinner bezels
The OPPO Find X8 and Find X8 Pro do have a lot to offer. The two devices are quite similar, but the Find X8 Pro is larger. On the flip side, the OPPO Find X8 has thinner bezels. Both of them have noticeable camera oreos on the back.
Both smartphones are fueled by the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip. They both also utilize LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. 80W wired charging is supported, as is 50W wireless charging. Yes, a charger is also included in the box.
It’s worth noting that OPPO also created some nice accessories for them that utilize magnetic charging. It will be interesting to see whether those accessories will make their way to global markets, though.
Android 15 comes pre-installed on both phones, along with OPPO’s new version of ColorOS, version 15.
