We’ve already covered the OnePlus 13 launch, and are here to take a closer look at the phone’s specs. There is, of course, a lot to talk about, as this is the company’s brand-new flagship. Do note that this was a China launch, its initial launch. The global launch is coming later on.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite fuels the phone, arguably the most powerful mobile SoC
With that being said, let’s kick things off with the heart of everything, the phone’s SoC. Qualcomm’s brand new flagship, the Snapdragon 8 Elite fuels the OnePlus 13. That chip was announced quite recently, and it’s technically the most powerful mobile SoC out there at the moment, based on benchmarks.
That chip is combined with 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM. OnePlus also announced that these models come with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB UFS 4.0 of flash storage. Do note that the storage is not expandable, though.
BOE’s new display is included, with all the bells and whistles
On the front, you’ll find a 6.82-inch 3168 x 1440 LTPO AMOLED display from BOE. It’s called the BOE X2, it’s brand new. That panel is flat this time around, and it offers an adaptive refresh rate (1-120Hz). It also supports HDR10+ content, and its brightness goes up to 4,500 nits. This panel supports 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, Dolby Vision, and it’s protected by the Crystal Shield ceramic glass.
A 6,000mAh battery has been included on the inside. That’s a notable improvement over the OnePlus 12. The company is also supporting 100W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. Yes, you’ll find a charger in the box. The device is also IP68 and IP69 rated for water and dust resistance. There are also two nano SIM card slots included.
A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s LYT-808 sensor, f/1.6 aperture, 1/1.43-inch sensor, OIS) can be found on the back. In addition to that, a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit (114-degree FoV, 1/1.27-inch Samsung JN1 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 3.5cm macro) is included, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (1/1.95-inch sensor, 3x optical zoom, f/2.6 aperture, OIS, 120x digital zoom). On the front, a 32-megapixel snapper (Sony IMX615, f/2.4 aperture) is located.
Android 15 comes out of the box with OnePlus’ brand new OxygenOS version
Android 15 comes pre-installed on the device, along with OnePlus’ OxygenOS 15 skin. Bluetooth 5.4 is a part of the package too. WiFi 7 is supported, and the same goes for 5G. OnePlus also upgraded an in-display fingerprint scanner, you’re getting the ultrasonic one here. An IR blaster is a part of the package too. Stereo speakers are a part of the package, and the same goes for four microphones.
The OnePlus 13 measures 162.9 x 76.5 x 8.5mm, and it weighs 213 grams. The blue model seems to have vegan leather on the back. it’s a bit thicker (8.8mm) and a bit lighter (210 grams) than the glass model. It comes in Blue Moment (blue), Dew Morning Light (white), and Obsidian Black (black) colors. Do note that the color names are based on machine translation, but you can see them all below.
