Deputies search for 1 of 2 suspects in Martinez accused of entering autos – WRDW


MARTINEZ, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Deputies arrested one suspect and are searching for another in connection to entering several cars on Thursday morning, according to Major Steve Morris.

Columbia County deputies said they were in the area of Petersburg Station, The Pass and Cedar Rock Drive searching for suspect Aaron Kentrell Edmonds, around 7 a.m.

Edmonds is described by authorities to be five feet and 10 inches in height, and around 140 pounds in weight with black hair and brown eyes.

He is connected to several entering autos. While attempting to make contact the subject fled on foot, according to authorities.

Morris told us “Our Real Time Crime Center received an LPR alert early Thursday morning and located the vehicle. Suspects fled, one in custody.”

The perimeter was still set up around Petersburg Station neighborhood including Stagecoach Way and Calico Circle, and other neighborhoods along The Pass.
