City council member and vice mayor Sue Gray was elected as mayor of Nevis on Tuesday.
Gray received 186 votes, or 94.9%, versus 10 write-ins.
In a four-way race for two seats on the Nevis City Council, incumbent Teresa Leshovsky was re-elected with 89 votes, and newcomer Mark Koebnick was elected with 101 votes. Meanwhile, Jamie Caughey received 68 votes, Mary Carrier received 80, and there were two write-ins.
