BG-WC MPO to hold public meetings on 2050 transportation plan – WBKO

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – With the Bowling Green-Warren County 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan in the works, they’re inviting the public to open-house style meetings for feedback.

There will be two meetings on Nov. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. One will be held at the Barren River Area Development District Office at 177 Graham Avenue. The other will be held at the Warren County Tennis & Sports Center at Michael Buchanon Park at 9222 Nashville Road.

The MPO will present existing conditions as well as detailed displays of their planning process. The public will then be able to provide feedback on their transportation goals and priorities.

For those with a disability who will need assistance at the meeting, you can contact Carroll Duckworth at 270-842-1953.

The Metropolitan Transportation Plan must be updated every five years in order to qualify for federal transportation funds.

You can find more information on the plan here.
