Samsung Malaysia has just released its latest Galaxy A16 5G smartphone, boasting a sleek design and everyday features at a pretty affordable price point; let’s check it out.
The new Galaxy A16 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz while measures only 7.9mm thin and weighs 192g. For the bits of the smartphone, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage capacity, a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging capability, as well as an IP54 rating for dust/water resistance.
In terms of photography, it boasts a 50MP main sensor, along with a 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lens as well as a 13MP front camera to deliver detailed and vibrant images aligned to its price point.
Another highlight is the smartphone’s key island design, which offers a sleek aesthetic and ergonomic feel to ensure a comfortable and intuitive grip for everyday use.

Coming in three color options: Gold, Light Green, and Blue Black, Malaysians can now purchase the new Samsung Galaxy A16 5G at RM899 in the local market.
Additionally, those who buy the smartphone before 31st December 2024 are entitled to freebies including a 25W Travel Adapter, a 128GB SD card, and a 1-Year Extended Warranty while stock lasts.
