OPPO has officially launched the Find X8 series globally, with Europe getting exclusive access to the premium Find X8 Pro. The phone has great camera quality, powerful performance with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and long battery life. The series also introduces ColorOS 15 with advanced AI features powered by Gemini and Oppo’s own Xiaobu assistant.
OPPO Find X8 Pro brings UltraHDR Display and Cosmos design
The OPPO Find X8 Pro has a 6.7-inch ProXDR display that supports UltraHDR and a zippy 120Hz refresh rate. The screen brightness peaks at 1,600 nits, with HDR content viewing boosting it to 4,500 nits. The phone has a high screen-to-body ratio, with the bezels being just 1.9mm thick, and it looks undeniably attractive.
The phone is made from glass and aluminum. It features a Cosmos Ring design, with a glowing silver circle around the camera module. It comes in Space Black and Pearl White, with the Pearl White version being the more premium-looking option, with a shiny pattern.
The Find X8 Pro supports Splash Touch technology, which allows you to use the device even with wet hands or under light rainfall. Oppo has also taken eyecare into consideration and added dimming features that aren’t harsh on your eyes. Plus, the phone has TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, which means that it meets high standards and is guaranteed to reduce strain.

Push zoom limits with dual periscope cameras
The OPPO Find X8 Pro isn’t lacking in camera quality. The brand has worked with well-known Swedish camera manufacturers, Hassalblad, and introduced a new Master Camera System with powerful zoom and advanced AI features.
The phone has four cameras, including a 135mm periscope camera that gives you up to 6x clearer zoom and a larger 23mm wide-angle camera. There’s also a triple prism periscope camera with a 50MP Sony LYT600 sensor, which puts the phone as the first globally available phone to carry two periscope cameras.
Besides the hardware, you have features like Lightning Snap to assist you. You can capture a series of photos in quick succession of up to seven frames per second. All you need to do is hold down the shutter button and your phone processes the shots to look like one high-quality individual photo, thanks to Oppo’s HyperTone Image Engine.
ColorOS 15 introduces Google Circle on the Find X8 Pro, letting you find anything on your screen with a long press and without leaving any app. With Google Gemini as the digital assistant for ColorOS, it’s easier to check the weather, chat, or plan vacations.
AI Eraser has also been fine-tuned so that your phone now detects objects and performs better in generative filling. Three new AI-powered creative tools have been added to make photo editing even easier.
The Find X8 Pro guarantees six years of security updates, almost the same as Google’s latest Pixels, which enjoy an additional year’s support. This puts Oppo’s phone in a seriously competitive spot.
Perhaps the most interesting feature of all is Touch to Share. It connects two ecosystems that usually don’t work well together. Now, you can share files wirelessly between iOS/iPadOS and ColorOS 15 devices using Near Field Communication (NFC).
Another exciting thing about the Find X8 Pro is its powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Oppo says that it uses TSMC’s advanced 3-nanometer technology, making the CPU 35% faster and the GPU 41% better. The chip is also efficient, using 40% less for the CPU, 44% less for the GPU, and AI tasks needing 35% less energy.
The battery itself has a large 5,910mAh capacity and supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging and 50W ultra-fast AIRVOOC wireless charging with Oppo’s own Mag Charge case.

The brand is also introducing the Pad 3 Pro Europe through the store, priced at £499 (~$630).
