Xiaomi’s very best mid-range smartphones will soon go global. The devices in question are the Redmi Note 14 phones, and Xiaomi announced that the global launch will take place on December 9.
This announcement actually came via the Xiaomi India X account. So the phones will be launching in India, but they’re also coming to other markets, such as the ones in Europe.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 series of mid-range smartphones will go global soon
As a reminder, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 series launched in China back in September. On September 26, to be exact. We were wondering when will global models drop, and they’re coming, two and a half months after the China variants.
The Xiaomi Note series is the company’s best mid-range series of smartphones for years now. This year’s models didn’t disappoint either, at least based on what Xiaomi presented during an event in China.
Three phones were announced, and chances are all three will go global. Last year, we actually had five different models, as both 4G and 5G variants were a part of the equation.
The Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ are coming
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ were announced. We’ll either get three or more models on a global scale, as it’s possible different 4G and 5G models will be on offer once again.
Last year, the difference between 4G and 5G Redmi Note 13 models was not simply 4G or 5G connectivity. Not even close, the differences went much deeper than that, even as far as the design of the phones themselves.
This year’s Redmi Note models all have different chips. The Redmi Note 14 and Redmi Note 14 Pro utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra and Dimensity 7300 Ultra, respectively. The latter chip is actually much better. It’s a 4nm mid-range offering, compared to a 6nm mid-range chip.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+, on the other hand, is fueled by a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. There’s a good chance that the global models will retain those chips. The phones themselves do look rather modern, with thin bezels, glass and metal build, and so on. We’ll get all the details soon.
