The Pixel 8a has is the latest mid-range phone from Google the Android blower for as little as £12 in this incredible Black Friday deal.
It sounds too good to be true, but the official Google store has discounted the Pixel 8 to £369 from its original £499 for Black Friday and then you can save a further £357 by trading in your old phone.
That’s more than the £340 trade-in credit which Google advertises and brings the phone down to just £12, cheaper than a round of drinks.

To get the Pixel 8a for this incredible price, you’ll need to trade in an Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max with 1TB capacity to get a whopping £357 off. The phone must also be in good condition: it must turn on, have no cracks and a working screen.
It’s not quite as good as the trade-in deal we saw back in May which came to £9 but it required an iPhone 14 Pro Max. If you prefer, Amazon has a lower price if you’re not wanting to trade-in at £354.99.
In the US, you can get the Google Pixel 8a for $79 with the same trade-in, or Google will potentially pay you if you trade in something newer (no an option on the UK store). For example, an iPhone 14 Pro Max with 512GB more than covers the $399 price of the phone with a trade-in credit of $420.
Some might argue that trading an iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max for a 2024 Pixel 8a might be a downgrade in some respects. Regardless, if that’s not the phone you’re holding and thinking you want to move on, there are lots of other good trade-in values on a wide range of makes and models – plenty of which are many years old, so you may struggle to get this much for them elsewhere.
