The powerful nubia Z70 Ultra hits the global market

This month, nubia launched the Z70 Ultra as its latest flagship smartphone. The device boasts impressive specs and promises a true full-screen experience, free from any notch or punch hole that could interfere with the content. A few days later, the company is bringing the nubia Z70 Ultra to the global market.

The global nubia Z70 Ultra maintains its impressive set of specs

The global version of the nubia Z70 Ultra retains the tech specs of the original variant. That means you’ll find a massive 6.85-inch OLED display at 1.5K resolution (2688 x 1216 pixels) and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display boasts 10-bit color depth and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Mobile gaming fans will be happy to know that it features a high 960Hz touch sampling rate. Plus, 2592Hz PWM dimming will protect the health of those sensitive to screen flickering.

The powerful 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite powers the device. There’s an Adreno 830 GPU that promises a smooth experience even in the most demanding games, supporting advanced features like ray tracing and more. Potential buyers can get it with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. A massive 6150 mAh battery with 80W USB-C fast charging will keep the lights on all day.

Rich gaming experience in a photographic flagship

While it’s not a gaming-focused device like the RedMagic 10 Pro, it inherits multiple features that offer a rich experience. The list includes powerful stereo speakers, dual X-axis linear haptic motors, and the DTS:X ULTRA audio system. There’s also an IR sensor that lets you use the phone as a remote for appliances and other products at home.

The global version of the nubia Z70 Ultra keeps its promising rear camera setup. There’s a triple camera system consisting of 50MP (main, Sony IMX906, 1/1.56″, f/1.59-f/4.0 variable aperture, OIS) + 50MP (ultrawide + macro, OmniVision OV50D, 120° FOV) + 64MP (2.7x telephoto, OmniVision OV64B, OIS) sensors. The device’s front camera is an under-display 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q sensor.

As for the software, the phone runs on Android 15 (Nebula AIOS custom skin) out of the box. The body of the nubia Z70 Ultra has dimensions of 164.3 × 77.1 × 8.6 mm and a weight of 228 grams. It also integrates IP68 and IP69 ratings for enhanced water and dust resistance.
