Huawei unveiled a luxury ‘Ultimate’ smartwatch with 18K gold finish
This is basically a high-end luxury product from the company, and it launched in China. This watch features six sections of 18K gold on the edges of the ceramic bezel. The bezel characters are coated using real gold vacuum ion coating technology, says Huawei.
On top of that, all the buttons have gold coating as well, including the rotating ‘crown’ button in the top-right corner. The display is covered by sapphire glass, while the watch’s body is made out of amorphous zirconium alloy.
The watch comes with a retractable butterfly clasp with a 12-stage precision mechanical micro-adjustment system. The watch comes in Black Gold and Yellow Gold variants. The former costs CNY21,999 ($3,038), while the latter is priced at CNY23,999 ($3,314) in China.
It has a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display and offers up to 14 days of battery life
This smartwatch features a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 resolution. It includes an optical heart rate sensor, depth sensor, temperature sensor, ambient light sensor, and every other sensor you’d expect, basically.
There are three physical buttons on here, while the one in the top-right corner also rotates. This watch is compatible with both Android and iOS, in case you were wondering. It also comes with a 10 ATM rating for water.
GPS support is included, as is NFC support. There is a built-in microphone here, and the same goes for a speaker. The watch offers up to 14 days of battery life, while it measures 49.4 x 49.4 x 13mm. It weighs 78 grams without a strap.
Chances are that this variant of the watch will remain exclusive to China, but we’ll see.
