According to reports, we’re just under a couple of months away from the official launch of the Galaxy S25 series. Naturally, leaks will increase as the announcement date approaches. That’s what’s happening with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which recently had real-life images leaked, including benchmarks and a new look at One UI 7.
Yesterday, we covered the latest leak related to the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s final design. The real-life images and short video confirmed the info that’s been surfacing over the past few months. From the more rounded corners for a more comfortable grip to the thick black rings around the camera sensors, it’s all there. The leak, courtesy of GamingMK on Reddit and YouTube, also showed what the flat edges and ports of the device look like, including the one for the S Pen.

The source also included screenshots of One UI 7 running on the Galaxy S25 Ultra (via Android Authority). We’ve already seen what the updated custom skin looks like before, both in leaks and officially at a Samsung event. These new images confirm what we’ve seen so far.
The images show that the South Korean giant has redesigned its own icons, although they maintain the distinctive and recognizable One UI form factor. We can also see part of the new UI of Samsung’s Camera app and even the revamped control center, which will now be more customizable than ever. In fact, the company is adopting a customization style similar to that of the latest versions of iOS. This allows almost-free arrangement of buttons and shortcuts.
Impressive results in Geekbench
Along with the images of the device and One UI 7, GamingMK also shared the phone’s results on Geekbench. The Galaxy S25 Ultra scores 2,863 points in the single-core performance tests. Meanwhile, the multi-core performance tests reached 9,391 points. That’s a huge jump in power compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The leap is even more impressive when you compare the results to the Galaxy S23 series.
Samsung has not yet officially confirmed the Galaxy S25’s launch date. However, according to leaks, the company will hold the Unpacked event on January 22 or 23, 2025.
