OnePlus 13R confirms its existence via the FCC

The OnePlus 13R design has just been revealed recently thanks to the OnePlus Ace 5. That is basically a Chinese variant of the phone. With that being said, the OnePlus 13R has surfaced at the FCC as well, thus confirming its existence, basically.

The OnePlus 13R seemingly appeared at the FCC

The phone appeared with the model number ‘CPH2647’. A 5,860mAh battery is listed, though that could be marketed either as a 5,900mAh unit or a 6,000mAh battery. The phone will also offer 80W fast wired charging, it would seem. The ‘VCB8OAUH’ charger was also listed alongside the device.

This certification also confirms that the phone will support 5G connectivity, though that is a given. Wi-Fi 7 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) will also be a part of the package, and the same goes for Bluetooth 5.4.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will fuel this smartphone, that’s something OnePlus already confirmed. What we also know is that it will resemble the OnePlus 13. It doesn’t have a quad micro-curved display and backplate like the OnePlus 13, though. It probably also won’t have a camera key on the right side.

The phone will feature a flat display, flat back, and a flat frame

The display here is flat, as is the phone’s backplate. The same goes for the frame, actually. The power/lock and volume rocker buttons sit on the right-hand side. On the other side, it’ll have an alert slider.

This will essentially be a more affordable variant of the OnePlus 13. The two smartphones are expected to arrive at the exact same time. More on that in the next paragraph.

The OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to arrive on December 12 in China, at least based on a recent report. We’ll have to wait until January to get its global variant aka OnePlus 13R. Nothing has been confirmed just yet, it’s just a guess, as that’s where the OnePlus 13 and 13R are expected to launch, at least for now.
