HONOR just announced the global version of the HONOR MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon laptop. This laptop is based on the Snapdragon X Elite platform, unlike its Intel-powered sibling.
The HONOR MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon model has reached global markets
To give you more context, HONOR announced the same laptop in both Intel and Snapdragon models. The MagicBook Art 14 was announced during IFA back in September, and we reviewed the Intel version a while back. That model has been on sale for a while.
The Snapdragon variant, however, was a bit delayed. Well, the global version just dropped, and it is already available in select countries in Europe. It’s available officially via the HiHonor website in France, Germany, and Italy. The price tag is €1,699.
It is only 11.5mm thick and weighs 1kg
Do note that this laptop weighs only 1.02kg, and it’s only 11.5mm thick (1 cm at the thinnest point). The company also claims that you can get 9.5 hours of use from the laptop, under certain conditions, before you’ll need to charge it.
The HONOR MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon is made out of aerospace magnesium. The device is fueled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite platform (X1E80100), and comes in Titanium Gold and Starry Gray colors.
A touch-sensitive 14.6-inch HONOR FullView display is used here
A 14.6-inch HONOR FullView touch display is included here, and it supports 10-point multi-touch. It offers a 3120 x 2080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The aspect ratio is 3:2, while the bezels are 2.2mm thick at the top, left, and right sides. This display also supports a 4,320Hz WPM flicker-free dimming, and it has several TUV Rheinland certifications.
HONOR also included 32GB of RAM inside of this laptop, and a 1TB hard drive. Bluetooth 5.4 is on offer too, while there is also a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home key.
The keyboard on this device has a 1.5mm travel size, and a pop-out camera is featured. The camera sits on the left side of the laptop, and when you need it, you just press on it, and it pops out. At that point, you’ll need to mount it at the top of the laptop, where it will automatically magnetize. This allowed HONOR to trim down the bezels even further.
65W charging is on offer, and plenty of ports
A larger touchpad is also on offer here (129 x 94.5mm), while it supports 5-point multi-touch functionality. A 60Wh battery is included too, and a 65W USB-C charger comes included as well.
Two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 USB ports are included, and one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port. There is also one HDMI 2.1-TMDS port here and an audio jack as well. HONOR Spatial Audio support is included, while you’ll find six speakers on the device.
Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed here, while vapor cooling is included too. HONOR is also using ultra-thin high-modulus aluminum fans.
