A new update has started rolling out to the OnePlus 12, bringing new AI tools, camera filters, and more. This update has started rolling out in India, but it will spread to other markets really fast.

The update is marked as OxygenOS 15 15.0.0.404, and it does also boost security. This update includes the December 2024 Android security patch, on top of the other changes that we’ll talk about.
Now, in regards to AI tools, AI Reply, AI Check, and AI Rewrite features have landed. The AI Reply feature can recommend replies based on the chat context. It also has support for “diverse language styles”.
The AI Check feature can check grammar, spelling, typos, punctuation, and more, and thus improve your writing. The AI Rewrite feature can extend, shorten, expand, and edit your text.
Fresh, Emerald, and Clear camera filters have been added
OnePlus has also added new camera film filters to Photo mode and Portrait mode within the camera. Those filters are Fresh, Emerald, and Clear. A new feature has been added for personalized watermarks too.
This update also improves the stability and expands the compatibility of wireless connections on the OnePlus 12. The status of the flashlight is also visible in Live Alerts now, while you can see the charging information in Live Alerts too.
Dragging a floating window can now open up a floating window view at that app, while some performance improvements have been issued too. The battery life has been improved too. Check out the list below for a full changelog.
Do note that this update is rolling out to the OnePlus 12 in stages. So you may not get it straight away, but it is coming to your phone soon if you’re living in India. If not, you may have to wait a bit longer.
