Ever since Apple TV+ was launched in November 2019, it has continued to produce critically acclaimed and fan-favorite shows that have consistently hooked audiences. As next month approaches, two wildly popular series return for their highly anticipated new seasons, which certainly has viewers excited. There’s even a returning children’s show that families will certainly be excited to see.

Arguably one of the better streaming services currently available, Apple TV+ has remained commercial free, which is a godsend for its subscribers. Despite its relatively smaller catalog of options, viewers are able to enjoy their shows uninterrupted, which audiences undoubtedly prefer. Along with plenty of established shows returning next month, the streaming platform will also offer a brand-new series viewers will find rather thrilling.

‘Severance’ (Season 2)

Severance is a science fiction psychological thriller that follows a group of office workers whose consciousness has been split in half. They live their regular lives, but upon arriving to work at a biotechnology corporation known as Lumon Industries, an implant inside their mind is activated, and their work consciousness takes over. With no recollection of who they are outside their work lives, the employees toil away as they complete tasks without understanding the meaning behind what they do. Essentially two people inside one mind, they never meet, and their outside versions have no idea what their work versions do each day.

However, when a mysterious coworker shows up outside of work, the truth about their jobs begins to unravel, and their drive to figure it all out only grows. The show’s main cast includes Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, John Turturro, and Patricia Arquette. Its highly praised first season was nominated for three Golden Globes, including Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series for John Turturro, Best Actor in a Television Series for Adam Scott, and Best Television Series. Severance Season 2 is streaming on January 17.

Because of this, he’s now on the radar of Taylah Sanders (Quintessa Swindell), an NSA agent whose current assignment involves watching the mathematician and reporting on his behavior. However, together, they begin to unravel a vast and frightening conspiracy centered around Edward and his work. Prime Target is streaming on January 22.

‘Eva the Owlet’ (Season 2)

Eva the Owlet is an animated children’s series that follows a creative and cheeky little owlet named Eva. Together with her neighbor and best friend, Lucy, Eva attends school in her town of Treetopington and explores all the wonders of her woodland world high above the ground. Throughout the show’s first season, Eva found herself on the front page of the town’s newspaper, she hosted her very first sleepover, she ran her own juice stand, and she got creative in the kitchen in an effort to win the local baking competition.

‘Mythic Quest’ (Season 4)

Created by Charlie Day, Megan Ganz, and Rob McElhenney, Mythic Quest is a comedy series that follows a video game studio responsible for making the massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) known as Mythic Quest. Run by the game’s creator, Ian Grimm (Rob McElhenney), the company is full of quite a cast of characters, including the company’s lead engineer, Poppy Li (Charlotte Nicdao), head of monetization, Brad Bakshi (Danny Pudi), and head writer, C.W. Longbottom (F. Murray Abraham).

At the beginning of the series, the company was set to release a major expansion pack called Raven’s Banquet. Now, as the show enters its fourth season, the company will confront various new challenges in a continuously changing video game landscape, all while attempting to navigate their clashing egos. Mythic Quest Season 4 is streaming on January 29.
