As artificial intelligence continues to become a bigger part of the computing experience, Acer is announcing several new PCs at CES that have AI baked in, such as the Swift Go 16 AI. This is one of a handful of new Copilot+ PCs from the brand, and they’re meant to deliver a more streamlined user experience for daily tasks. Acer is also announcing the Swift Go 14 AI, as well as the Aspire 14 AI. These are just the laptops too.
In addition to the laptops, Acer is announcing the Revo Box AI which is a compact PC. So if you’re looking for a desktop but don’t want or need anything big, this might be what you seek. There are more desktops, too, with the Aspire S AI series and the Aspire C AI series. While these aren’t necessarily compact like the Revo Box AI, they won’t take up that much space. And that’s because they’re all-in-one desktops that are built into the monitor itself. perfect for anyone who has limited desk space and/or just wants a more organized setup.
Additionally, both the S series and C series come in 24-inch and 27-inch models.
The Acer Swift Go 16 AI and other PCs are equipped with the latest AI-powered chips
As these new PCs are meant to be built on the foundations of AI-powered technology, all of them come with the latest chipsets that have AI features and Neural Processing Units. The chipsets vary by device though. For instance, the Swift Go 16 AI and Swift Go 14 AI can come with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350. Meanwhile, the Aspire 14 AI can come with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V.
Likewise, the graphics are either AMD Radeon 840M or 860M, or Intel Arc depending on the product. Acer is doing basically the same thing with its Aspire S series and Aspire C Series. The Aspire Series comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, while the Aspire C series comes with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 CPU in the 27-inch model, and up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 in the 24-inch model. The Revo Box on the other hand has the same CPU options as the Aspire 14 AI.
All of these new PCs are intended to help users boost creativity and productivity with help from AI. For the laptops, that means longer battery life thanks to the NPU. All of the PCs should benefit from Cpoilot+ integration for a range of automated functions. As for RAM and storage, Acer is saying up to 32GB across the board, save for the Aspire C27 AI which can come with up to 64GB. Storage is fairly similar as well, with up to 1TB available on most of them and up to 2TB on a couple of others.
Pricing and availability are TBD for most of these products
For now, Acer isn’t announcing the release dates or the pricing for several of these new PCs. You will be able to buy the Swift Go 16 AI in April starting at $949.99. Like its non-AI counterpart, the Swift Go 14 AI will launch in May starting at $899.99. If you want something sooner, the Aspire 14 AI launches in February and will start at $799.99.
Meanwhile, the Aspire S series, Aspire C series, and Revo Box all have no launch dates or prices at this time.
