Roborock debuts Saros 10 with RetractSense Navigation System
Roborock has also launched the Saros 10. This ultra-thin robot vacuum is only 7.98 cm (3.14 in) tall and features Roborock’s new RetractSense Navigation System. The RetractSense Navigation System allows the Saros 10 to lower its LDS to clean under low-clearance areas and raise it again in open spaces. Thanks to this unwavering awareness, the Saros navigates with precision, effortlessly avoiding collisions with sofa legs or the wall. Finally, Roborock Saros 10 features strong 22,000Pa suction power, which is going to be perfect for people like me who have pets that are always shedding all over the place. Dirt, dust, and other debris don’t stand a chance against this type of suction power on Saros 10.
Saros 10R features next-gen StarSight Autonomous System
Despite being as thin as Saros 10, the Saros 10R introduces the new StarSight Autonomous System 2.0, which includes an industry-first Dual-Transmitter 3D ToF.
The Saros 10R uses a dual-transmitter solid-state LiDAR which has more than 21,600 sensor points and 38,400Hz sampling frequency with 3D ToF technology. This combines to offer the best navigation in the business and redefines robot vacuum performance. This provides true 3D spatial awareness, it also enables precise localization, comprehensive mapping, and reliable obstacle avoidance. All on a robot vacuum that is just a tad over three inches tall.
