Ecobee has announced a new ‘Smart Thermostat Essential,’ offering a full color touchscreen at a lower cost than its Smart Thermostat Premium and Smart Thermostat Enhanced.

With ecobee Smart Thermostat Essential, customers can easily manage the temperature in their home to maintain comfort and maximize cost savings on their energy bills. Through convenient scheduling and comfort settings, the thermostat adapts to any household’s routine to help optimize energy use while away and maintain comfort while at home. It automatically learns how long it takes to heat and cool the home, delivering the desired temperature precisely when customers want it. When paired with optional ecobee SmartSensors, the thermostat can further optimize household comfort in the rooms that are used the most.
