STUTTGART (dpa-AFX) – Sports carmaker Porsche AG sold fewer cars last year than in the previous year. Global deliveries fell by three percent to around 310,700 vehicles, as the VW Group-owned company announced in Stuttgart.
Porsche grew in four out of five regions, including Germany. Only in China, there was a sharp decline of 28 percent. “The decline is mainly due to the continuing challenging economic situation in this region,” reported the carmaker.
Sales director Detlev von Platen said that the manufacturer’s product range makes it attractive to customers. “At the same time, we are of course aware that the economic and geopolitical conditions in 2025 will challenge us more than ever,” said von Platen, according to a statement./cb/DP/zb
