The Future of Fantasy: Wild River Games and Schleich to Launch Eldrador Creatures Video Game – The Toy Book

For many years, kids had to use imagination alone to bring their Eldrador Creatures toys to life. This spring, fantasy will become a (digital) reality!

Wild River Games is partnering with Schleich and its iconic toy line to produce a video game that brings the Eldrador Creatures franchise into the modern age. Releasing digitally on Mar. 6, Eldrador Creatures: Shadowfall transforms Schleich’s original toy models into an engaging digital landscape that extends the life of the toys well past their intended age range.

In Eldrador Creatures: Shadowfall, a dark new threat lurks in the Shadows, and it’s up to players to unite the creatures across Eldrador and defeat it. This turn-based strategy game challenges players ages six and older to think tactically, battle magical monsters, and explore the vast lands of Eldrador to save the magical creatures they hold dear. With over 100 levels of exhilarating quests, this video game has hours of family-friendly fantasy fun to discover.

The video game includes over 20 unique creatures for kids to play with, from Lava World’s fiery dragons to the wild animals of Jungle World. Each virtual character is modeled after Schleich’s original 3D design of the toys, so kids can play with these beloved toys long after they’ve outgrown their toy box.

Eldrador Creatures: Shadowfall will be available digitally on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on Mar. 6, with a retail release shortly following on Apr. 11. For more information about the upcoming release, check out Wild River Games’ website.
