Sometimes we take things for granted like that one of the world’s biggest cloud photo storage services would have a basic editing feature but that isn’t the case for Google Photos…
Nevertheless, Google has now announced that its Google Photos service has finally got a tool for mirroring images.
The long-awaited feature can be found by opening the Google Photos app, tapping the edit icon, and then “Crop”. To flip a photo, you then tap the “Flip” icon. After that, tap “Save” and a mirrored version of the photo will be created.
The mirroring feature is so far only available in the Google Photos app for Android phones and tablets. It is currently unknown when it might appear on other platforms such as iOS.
