Raje Dwaraka named CFO of Student Transportation of America – ROI-NJ.com

Wall-based Student Transportation of America (STA) on Monday announced Raje Dwaraka has joined the company’s leadership team as chief financial officer.

Dwaraka is a senior finance executive with 25 years of leadership experience across public, private and PE-backed companies in diverse industries including manufacturing, technology and services.

“We are thrilled to welcome Raje to the STA team as our new Chief Financial Officer,” Gene Kowalczewski, CEO of Student Transportation of America said. “Her background in finance leadership and expertise in driving operational efficiency will be instrumental in fostering sustainable growth for STA, especially as we navigate this next chapter of market growth.”

Dwaraka brings extensive experience in strategic planning, risk management, business and finance transformation, and liquidity improvement. Her experience in optimizing financial operations, spearheading large-scale projects and driving organizational growth through mergers and acquisitions will be pivotal as STA continues to expand its capabilities and services in new and existing markets.

“I’m looking forward to working with the Leadership Team to help advance STA’s mission and further solidify its industry-leading position in the transportation industry,” Dwaraka said.

Dwaraka is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA). She earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Madras University, India. Most recently, Dwaraka served as CFO of Davis-Standard and prior to that, she held the Chief Accounting Officer role at Nielson IQ.
