Boulies Introduces Its New Master Rex Chair for Work and Gaming

In the years that I have been working from home, I’ve realized how important it is to be comfortable. At the very start of my career, I was fine sitting on my bed with my laptop, but very quickly, I realized how uncomfortable that could be after long hours. Eventually, I upgraded to a desk and a chair, and my body has thanked me ever since.

If there’s one thing you should prioritize for your working or gaming comfort, it’s the chair that you use. It can make all the difference. Boulies, a company that specializes in chairs, knows that and has just introduced its Master Rex model. With the features the Master Rex has, it sounds like “ergonomic” is its middle name.

Boulies’ New Master Rex Chair Looks Great and Is Built Solid

I think chairs don’t get as much thought as they should by the average person. You sit in a straight-backed dining chair, and after a few minutes, you think, “Hey, this isn’t comfortable.” But you’ll likely be out of that seat within the hour, so it doesn’t matter as much. However, when working or gaming, you’ll sit down for hours on end, and that’s when your comfort should take full priority.

If you’re speaking of comfort and chairs, Boulies has to enter the conversation. The company was founded 10 years ago, and in that time, it has specialized in making chairs for work, gaming, and leisure. Today, the company has introduced the new Master Rex model, and it looks good.

You get a design that’s not too loud: a five-pronged aluminum foot base with 6cm casters, adjustable armrests, a cushioned back with slight bolstering to the sides, and cold-cure foam filling for comfort. You can get it upholstered with Boulies Ultraflex faux leather (available in black or brown) or Boulies water-repellant fabric (available in charcoal grey, como, and ash grey), each paired with microfiber suede for a premium feel.

The Master Rex Is Packed with Features That Prioritize Your Comfort

If you didn’t touch a single knob, dial, or lever on the Master Rex, you would still have a very comfortable chair. It’s soft, has bolstering on the backrest and seat, comes with armrests, and is built high enough to support your head. There’s lumbar support, too. It’s a comfortable product based on those alone, but the best part is that there’s more that it does to prioritize ergonomics.

For one, the Master Rex comes with an integrated leg rest that can be folded away when not in use, stopping it from getting in the way. And if you’ve ever used a leg rest, you know there’s nothing better than being able to recline at the same time. The backrest can push as far back as 165°, and the Enhanced Stable Tilt mechanism lets you lock the chair’s tilt in at a certain angle.

I mentioned lumbar support earlier, didn’t I? With the Master Rex, the lumbar support is adjustable, so regardless of your height or the curvature of your spine, you can make sure that it feels just right. And speaking of adjustments, you can adjust the armrests higher or lower, forward or backward, and even closer in or further out from your body. And yes, the height of the entire chair can be adjusted, thanks to class 4 hydraulics.

Quality and comfort are never cheap, and the Boulies Master Rex has both. The chair is available online at Boulies’ official website for £409.99 (~$515), though the company is currently offering a £80 discount to bring the price down to £329.99, which is roughly $415. Plus, free shipping on all orders, so that’s a nice little touch.
