In 2023, Tom Cruise returned to the Mission Impossible franchise with Dead Reckoning (formerly named Part 1).
Ethan Hunt’s enemy took us into the world of AI, with the rogue action hero going to all kinds of lengths to save the day – including jumping off a cliff on a motorcycle.
Mission: Impossible 8 is heavily rumoured to be Cruise’s last appearance in the leading role. The actor is naturally keeping tight-lipped on this, according to Empire, but the latest trailer and the inclusion of the word ‘Final’ in the title seem to give strong hints.
If you’d like to know when cinema tickets for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning go on sale, we have everything you need to know.
When are tickets for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning likely to go on sale?
Tickets for Mission: Impossible 8 aren’t yet on sale, but we can predict when they might be available for purchase.
For the last film, Dead Reckoning, tickets were available just under a month before the film hit cinemas. Paramount Pictures (the studio behind MI8) also dropped tickets for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 around three weeks before the film was released back in December.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning will hit cinemas on 21 May 2025 in the UK, and on 23 May 2025 in the US. Based on the information above, we expect that tickets will be available to pre-order between late April/early May 2025. At the earliest, we could see them drop around 21 April 2025 – most likely in the UK, as the release date is sooner.
We’ll update this article as soon as we know more. In the meantime, if you want a taste of what is to come, check out the official teaser trailer below:
