In a surprising move, Apple has finally let users transfer their purchased apps, music, and other digital content from one Apple account to another. However, there are a few limitations to keep in mind.
The biggest drawback is that this option is only available in certain regions. Those in the US are fine, but if you’re in the UK, EU, or India, you won’t be able to take advantage of it, as Apple has chosen to restrict the feature in these areas for reasons that remain unclear.
For now, we don’t know when or if this feature will ever be made available in the currently restricted countries.

Even for those who can access it, the transfer process isn’t entirely straightforward. You can only move purchases from a secondary account to a primary one.
The primary account is the one linked to iCloud and most Apple services, while the secondary account is used exclusively for buying media and apps. If you’ve ever found yourself stuck with purchases on an account you no longer actively use, this could be a useful update.
That being said, Apple hasn’t exactly made it easy. The process involves multiple steps and a long list of conditions that must be met before you can successfully migrate your content.
If you meet the criteria, make sure to follow Apple’s official guidelines carefully to complete the transfer.
