EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A Henderson woman was arrested in Evansville after police say she was passed out in her car with three children inside.
Officers say 30-year-old Norma Yates was found in the parking lot of the the Westside Logan’s Roadhouse just after 11 p.m. Saturday.

Officers attempted to wake Yates up by knocking on the window, but were unsuccessful.
After opening the door, police say they saw alcohol in the door of the car, and Yates appeared lethargic and could not keep her balance.
Police gave Yates a field sobriety test and a drug evaluation.
Officers say she tested positive for an illegal amount of a stimulant, making her unable to drive a car safely.
Yates was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where she was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Neglect of a Dependent.
