COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WSMV) – An investigation into what caused a fire at an auto body shop is underway in Columbia.
Columbia Fire & Rescue said they responded to Brown’s Body Shop in the 1500 block of Nashville Highway just before 11:50 a.m. for reports of a fire.
On scene, crews worked to put the fire out and were able to contain hazardous paint materials that were being stored inside the business.
No injures were reported in the fire, CFR said.
At this time, the Columbia Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
In addition to CFR’s response, the Maury County Fire Department, Spring Hill Fire Department and Mount Pleasant Fire all also responded to the scene.
