Amazon has now dropped the most affordable M4 MacBook Pro down even lower. We have seen both the silver and Space Black models fall to $1,399 a few times now – that’s $200 off the regular $1,599 and the lowest point of entry into Apple’s latest slate of MacBook Pro machines. But if you haven’t pulled the trigger yet and have had your eye on the 16GB 14-inch model, the price just fell a touch lower.
Over at Amazon, you’ll now find the Space Black model with 16GB of RAM and the 512GB internal SSD marked down to $1,395 shipped, or $204 off the regular list price. Okay so that’s only $4 less than our previous mention, which is clearly not all that much, but we are now talking about an Amazon all-time low here nonetheless – we did see this price once before for an extremely brief hour or so last month.
I certainly would not hesitate to recommend this machine at $1,399, but again, if you’re looking to scoop this one up, it is now at the lowest price we can find anywhere online in brand-new condition.
Deals on the M4 and M4 Pro MacBook lineup have been relatively steady since the Black Friday festivities kicked into overdrive last November. There were some notable doorbuster offers then that have yet to return on the more pricey configurations, and the 16GB M4 we are featuring here today did stick up at $1,449 for most of January 2025, but the deals have been steady enough that no one should ever have to pay full price for Apple’s latest and greatest laptops.
While I have, in the past, recommended folks at least consider the upgraded configurations when it comes to Apple’s MacBook Pro offerings, that changed with the launch of the M4 models. More specifically, when it upped its RAM game. The old base tier 8GB models on the previous M3 lineup felt sorely and equally under-powered as they were underwhelming for me, but with the 16GB now in the M4 machines, Apple’s most affordable pro-grade laptops have become a much easier recommendation for all but the most power hungry of users.
