Millions of Galaxy device users are patiently awaiting the rollout of One UI 7. The Android 15-based update is taking quite a while, and is still weeks away—or even months for older models. The new Galaxy S25 series and some low-end and mid-range phones released later run the firmware out of the box. In the meantime, you can simulate the One UI 7 experience on your phone through the Try Galaxy app.
A few years ago, Samsung launched Try Galaxy as a way to get a closer look at how the new features in One UI updates work. The app also simulates the experience of using the company’s latest devices and software. It aims to convince users of other brands to switch to a Galaxy device. It also allows current Galaxy phone users to “test drive” key new features in upcoming updates.
Samsung’s Try Galaxy app now simulates the One UI 7 and S25 series experience, even on iPhones
Now, the South Korean giant has updated the Try Galaxy app to offer a closer look at One UI 7 and the Galaxy S25 series. As in previous cases, the app will “simulate” the device in an interactive UI. It adopts the new One UI 7 aesthetic and offers demos of key features in the form of videos when you tap in certain sections. Try Galaxy lets you see the new notification shade in action up close. If you’re not familiar with it, One UI 7 separates the notification shade from the quick access panel. You have to make different gestures to access one or the other.
Try Galaxy also includes the new design of the app menu and the bottom search bar. Now Brief, one of the most notable additions, is also available in demo form.
It’s worth noting that you won’t find Try Galaxy in any app store. It’s actually a web app that you can try even on an iPhone. You just need to access this link from your mobile device. Supported browsers include Chrome, Samsung Internet, and Safari.
