Toyota‘s GR Supra MkV Final Edition is finally here meaning the sports coupe has neared retirement.

The model will launch in 2026 with production ending soon after.

Whilst pricing for the vehicle has not been confirmed, the upgraded model looks to offer a range of new features.

Front wheel arch flaps, tire spats and a carbon-fiber ducktail spoiler have all been listed as part of the bodykit.

The car even rides on 10-spoke 19-inch wheels with a matte black finish for a timeless look.

Backed up by its appearance, the mechanical upgrades should improve traction and reduce understeer.

With a more direct feel, the turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine produced 382 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque.

There will likely be a choice of automatic or six-speed manual transmission.

With the small tweaks to the current Supra, perhaps the price reveal will suggest whether the model is worth buying.

Supra enthusiasts will likely be tempted by the limited edition vehicle.

Last November, the Japanese powerhouse launched the Supra A90 meaning many knew this day would come.

America has already waved goodbye to the fifth-generation sports car.

It is currently estimated that 300 of the cars will be distributed across Europe and Japan.

The MkV Final Edition will be limited to 1,300 units overall.

Images suggest the special edition model could be available with an eight-speed auto.

It follows Toyota’s move to boost its EV targets, setting a goal of producing one million by 2027.

According to Nikkei, Toyota aims to have around 15 electric models available in two years time.
