Over the years, while Google’s Pixel smartphones have arguably been getting better, there’s one aspect in which the company has been getting worse, and that’s in keeping details of their devices under wraps prior to launch. There’s no company that doesn’t get hit by leaks to some extent, but Google is definitely one of the worst in that regard.
But hey, the more leaks, the better it is for us on the consumer end of things, right? Today’s leak isn’t focused on a hardware detail or something related to a new software feature. This one is for those who pay a lot of attention to their device’s wallpapers. A Telegram leaker has just revealed the wallpapers for most of the Pixel 10 lineup.
The Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL Have All Had Default Wallpapers Leaked
The moment that you tap the power button on your phone, you’re presented with its wallpaper. Depending on who you are, wallpapers might not be something that you think about too often, but it is impossible to act as if they aren’t a big part of a phone’s “personality” when you’re using it. Wallpapers are an even more exciting thing when talking about new phones, since they come with wallpapers specially designed for them.
Thanks to MysticLeaker on Telegram, we’ve gotten a very early look at the wallpapers that have been prepared for the Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is left out for some reason, and so is the Google Pixel 10a, though that one will launch in almost a full year from now, so that’s understandable.
The new wallpapers all share a similar theme to a degree, which seems to be a varying number of warped circles and ovals, with each wallpaper adopting a different color palette. For the Pixel 10 Pro models, Google opts for a monochrome look, but all the wallpapers for the vanilla Pixel 10 are a lot more colorful. That could indicate some pretty vibrant colorways coming.

The Google Pixel 10 Series Could Hopefully Have More Efficient Chips
The Google Tensor G5 that’s expected to be inside the Google Pixel 10 family will be the first Tensor chips that break away from Samsung and are made entirely with TSMC’s help. Considering TSMC is generally considered to be the better chip fabricator (it works with Qualcomm), this could mean a lot better thermal and power efficiency. I wouldn’t expect a massive performance jump, though.
