Ah, we all know the story, don’t we? I need not talk about Samsung and its messed-up One UI 7 troubles, because at this point, everyone knows. I’ve been waiting with my Galaxy S22 Ultra for ages now, hoping to give the new OS a try as soon as it launches, but it doesn’t seem that things are going the right way for me or Samsung lovers.
The stable version of One UI 7 began to roll out early this month, and then stopped rolling out due to bugs. As of today, the rollout has resumed, but due to the delays, it is normal to be concerned that the prior schedule is no longer accurate. A new release schedule has been released on the Samsung Members app for a new perspective.
The One UI 7 Rollout Will Extend From Now Until July

On the Samsung Members app, a post was made by Samsung India detailing a new roadmap for the One UI 7 rollout. While this new schedule is particularly tailored towards Indian users, it shouldn’t differ by more than a week (or two at the very most) for users in other regions. The rollout will begin this month, April, and will extend all the way into July, which means the entire schedule will cover a four-month window.

Below, I’ve listed the months and the respective devices that will be receiving One UI 7 in those months. Of course, this list is made with the assumption that there won’t be any further delays, and with Samsung’s track record so far, I won’t be holding my breath.
- April:
- Samsung Galaxy S24 series (including S24 FE)
- Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6
- Galaxy Tab S10 series
- May:
- Samsung Galaxy S23 series (including S23 FE),

- Galaxy S21 series

- Galaxy Tab S8 series

- Galaxy A05s, A06, A14, A14 5G, A15, A16 5G, A25, A33 5G, A34, A35, A53 5G, A73 5G
- Galaxy M05, M14, M14 5G, M15, M16, M33, M34 5G, M35, M53, M55, M55s

The One UI 7 Rollout Might Still Be Ongoing Even After One UI 8 Has Been Launched

Just like last year, the expectation is that Samsung’s next set of foldables will be coming out in July, and if an earlier rumor turns out to be true (which I think it will based on Android 16’s H1 launch date this year), they could launch with One UI 8.
As you might have noticed from the list above, the very last devices in the One UI 7 rollout will be receiving the OS update in July. Although the roadmap doesn’t put specific dates (likely to give Samsung some wiggle room), it is entirely possible that One UI 8 will launch before the Tab A9 series gets its update.
Even the new OS releases after the old OS’s rollout is complete, it is ridiculous to have a two and three-month gap between S24 users getting One UI 7 and One UI 8 becoming official.
