Black Friday is almost always the best time to buy a TV and right now Best Buy is offering the TCL S3 Series TV in its 40-inch size for just $99.99. This TV is normally $229.99, so you end up saving $130.
Now this isn’t a 4K TV and it’s not massive. And at a normal price of $229.99, there are a lot of features the TCL S3 Series TV won’t offer. However, this TV is now $99 while Best Buy’s Black Friday sale is active. And it’s hard to care about missing features when you’re only spending about $100 on a TV.
That being said, this is still a pretty good TV, especially at this price. It’s perfect for the office, home office, classroom, or kid’s room. Heck, if you have a workout room in your home or you want a TV in the garage, this is an excellent choice. If something happens to it by accident, you don’t have to feel bad about it because it didn’t cost you a lot.
There’s also generally less space for a larger TV in a bedroom. So even if you bought this for your own bedroom, it’s perfect for that too. Because you could easily fit it on a dresser or mount it to a wall. This is a smart TV running on Amazon’s Fire TV OS as well. Just think about how awesome it would be to have a TV in your room with access to all of your favorite shows and movies. All you have to do is launch the apps for Disney Plus, Netflix, Prime Video, and many more. And you’re streaming content right to the TV.
The TCL S3 TV works with Alexa too. So you could even control your smart lights and other smart devices through the TV. If you like gaming, you could even hook up a console and play games. The TV only has a native 60Hz refresh rate, but that’s perfectly fine, and would even be really well-suited to the Nintendo Switch.
