Both Amazon and Best Buy have the DJI Osmo Action 4 discounted to its lowest price ever – just $249. Originally the Osmo Action 4 was priced at $399, but earlier this year DJI permanently dropped the price to $299. And now it’s on sale for $249 – of course part of this is because the newer Osmo Action 5 has been released. But the Action 4 is still a fantastic action camera to pick up.
As mentioned, the newer Osmo Action 5 is available, and the biggest difference is going to be the megapixels on the camera. The Osmo Action 4 is a 10-megapixel camera, while the Osmo Action 5 is a 40-megapixel camera, both, however shoot in 4K resolution. So you’re still going to get some really incredible footage out of this camera.
This is a 1/1.3-inch sensor, which is fairly large for an action camera, and that’s going to provide you with a great picture quality, even at night. DJI also lets you shoot in 10-bit and D-Log M for color performance, really letting you do pretty much anything with this camera.
Since it is an action camera, it should come as no surprise that this is deep-freeze resistant, meaning that it can withstand temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius or -4 degrees Fahrenheit. It also has long-lasting battery life, where you can record up to 150 minutes in the cold weather.
