Google’s Pixel Buds Pro 2 are the best earbuds that I’ve ever used so far, and right now Amazon has them on sale for Black Friday. They’re normally $229 but you can currently pick them up for $179.
That’s a very good price for these earbuds considering they just launched back in September. Like Google’s original Pixel Buds Pro, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 offers extreme comfort and really decent battery life. For me, the best part about them is how comfortable they are and how easy it has been to connect them to my devices. While I generally only use these with phones, they connect right away thanks to Google Fast Pair.
All I have to do is pull them out of the case, then tap connect on the notification that pops up on my phone. This is for the first time connecting too. After that, they just connect automatically. As for the comfort, they’re significantly more compact than the first model. That smaller size means there’s less of the earbud hanging out of your ear.
These earbuds also feature really good active noise cancellation. Once I pop them in, I can only hear my music and essentially nothing else. It’s that good. The nice thing is that if I want to hear other people or other ambient noises, I can turn on the transparency mode. Which, by the way, is fantastic. When this is enabled, it makes outside sounds clear as day. So there’s no need to take the earbuds out. You can leave them in and then turn transparency mode back off when you’re ready to shut out the world again.
As for battery life, they typically last me for about a week before I need to charge them again. If you want what is likely to be the best pair of true wireless earbuds you’ve ever used, get these while they’re still on sale.
