Razer’s Kraken V4 Pro gaming headset is a fairly expensive piece of gaming equipment for a peripheral, but with this deal on Amazon, it’s a much more reasonable accessory purchase. Normally, this headset would cost you $399.99. Razer launched it late last year and because of some of its more advanced features, it came with a higher price tag. The headset is now seeing its first huge discount as Amazon has it on sale for just $303.46. We’d jump on this deal quickly because there’s no telling how long it will last.
This is the all-time low price and the lowest we’ve ever seen since. With that price, this is a steal because it’s a great headset. Its only drawback is that it was more prohibitively expensive before. It’s still not cheap, but it’s much more affordable than before.
In terms of features, the Kraken V4 Pro has quite a few of them. One of its main advancements over older Kraken models is the base station that comes with it. This allows you to plug the headset into multiple platforms at the same time, and you can swap between which one you use the headset with just by pressing a button on the base station. No having to plug and unplug the headset. The base station also works off of a 2.4GHz low-latency Razer HyperSpeed wireless connection, so audio latency shouldn’t be much of an issue.
The headset also connects via Bluetooth, and you can hear the Bluetooth audio and the HyperSpeed wireless audio at the same time. So you can listen to your game and talk on a Discord call via the mobile app simultaneously. The other really big feature of the headset is the Sensa HD haptics. This allows the game you’re playing to vibrate with advanced haptics in the headset to provide a more immersive gaming experience, and it’s pretty wild.
