Sonos Five replaced the Play:5 which had been super popular. This is their mid-size speaker that does work with all of the other speakers in its lineup for a great surround sound lineup. It can be paired with the Sonos Arc and even a pair of Sonos Ones, as well as the Sub Mini, for a unique but great-sounding setup.
Sonos speakers are a bit different since they connect and stream over WiFi. That allows Sonos to offer better-sounding music wirelessly. Since WiFi has more bandwidth than Bluetooth. Thanks to the unrivaled acoustic design of the Sonos Five, you’re going to get some pretty deep bass, almost eliminating the need for the Sonos Sub or Sub Mini, actually.
With the Sonos Five, you also get support for Apple AirPlay 2, of course you can also play content from the Sonos app as well. If you’re a Spotify user, it does also work with Spotify Connect quite nicely.
