Amazon has an interesting deal going on with the Galaxy S25 Ultra right now. You can pick up the 512GB model for $1099, which is the exact same sale price as the 256GB model. So obviously, we are going to recommend getting the 512GB of storage instead since it’s the same price. But this means that Amazon is shaving $320 off of the 512GB Galaxy S25 Ultra. That’s one of the best deals we’ve seen for the S25 Ultra that doesn’t involve a trade-in.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra isn’t a huge upgrade over the previous year’s phone, which is not a huge surprise. Smartphones are pretty mature now, and companies like Samsung know that you aren’t upgrading every year. So each year, we’re looking at minimal updates, so when you update after 3-4 years, it’s actually a pretty big upgrade.
However, this year, we are looking at a larger display, now 6.9 inches, thanks to the 15% thinner bezels, the phone is actually physically smaller. It does run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which isn’t just an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite, but fully customized for Galaxy. Additionally, there’s 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage inside. The 512GB model is also available from Amazon, however, the 1TB model is only at Samsung.
