Back in the middle of December TCL had an amazing deal on its 98-inch QM85 TV, and now there’s a great deal on the 85-inch model. Normally the 85-inch QM85 would cost $2,499.99 at its full retail price. However, Amazon is offering it for $1,998.
This is just over $500 off the regular price, and it’s a couple of dollars lower than what Best Buy is offering for the same model. The price was a little bit lower back in August of 2024 when it was down to $1,979, but this is pretty close to that. And at a difference of only $19, it’s still a pretty good price considering the size of the TV and its many awesome features.
For starters, this TV features Dolby Vision IQ HDR and Dolby Atmos. These two features will go a long way to making your viewing experience that much better. While Dolby Vision IQ HDR enhances the picture quality, Dolby Atmos brings in more immersive sound. And for gamers, this TV features a 120Hz refresh rate with a 144Hz variable refresh rate. It also features TCL’s Game Accelerator 240 to make visuals even smoother.
For convenience, the TCL QM85 comes with a voice remote that’s compatible with Alexa. This is great for when you’re tired of using the on-remote d-pad to select characters and type in the content you’re searching for. Instead, you can use your voice to search for stuff. And oh boy is there lots of content to search for. Since this is a Google TV, you have access to the Play Store and several apps for streaming movie and TV show content. Such as Netflix, Max, Disney Plus, and many more.
Another really neat feature is the AI processor that’s onboard, which helps to optimize picture quality, color, and contrast.
