AH Real Deal: Score Alienware's 34-inch gaming monitor for $650

Right now Amazon is offering a pretty sweet deal on the Alienware 34-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor, bringing the price down by a considerable amount.

As gaming monitors go, the Alienware 34-inch QD-OLED has just about everything you could ever need. It’s an ultrawide gaming monitor so you get plenty of screen space for your games, and it’s curved so there’s more of a possibility for immersion. Normally this monitor would cost you $899.99 if you were buying it at the full retail price. However, Amazon has it on sale right now for just $649.99. That’s the lowest we’ve ever seen this gaming monitor and the all-time low price since the monitor’s launch.

Now aside from the size of the monitor and its curved ultrawide aspect ratio, this is a WQHD monitor with a 165Hz refresh rate. That means super-smooth gaming visuals for you with a great resolution for games. It also has a 0.1ms response time. There are several ports on the underside of the monitor for plugging your stuff in too. You get two DisplayPort connections and one HDMI port. So you can easily plug in a console and a PC, then another PC with the second DisplayPort if you want. Or you could use an HDMI to DisplayPort adapter and plug in a second console. Additionally, you get several USB ports.

The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro as well, and there’s RGB lighting on the back for a little extra style. Putting all of that aside, if you want a solid gaming monitor that won’t break the bank, this is it.
